Dear Ben,
I wrote you a letter long ago, after she told me about the two of you. I wished you well and hoped she could be everything for you that I could not. I didn't know how to process the news. I didn't know how to love you, but not be able to love myself. I just knew I regretted running away, but you had moved on and I had to put on a brave face. I don't remember what I did with it, but thought I should put this one out into the world.
Here we are 15 years later. Maybe a second chance.
